The Role:
Reporting directly to the Director, the core focus of this role will be to ensure the delivery of a quality service to key stakeholders. You will oversee warehousing and distribution activities and successfully deliver productive strategies and outcomes. This is an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Operations Manager who shares and has the drive to deliver our clients vision of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and empower employees through effective & open communication
- Implement and manage initiatives and tools that aim to achieve customer objectives, controlled cost and maximized profit
- Formulation and monitoring of appropriate KPI’s to maintain the optimal warehousing and distribution performance
- Continuously Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
- Deliver productive outcomes through the utilisation of warehouse resources and frontline engagement and collaboration
- Promoting safety-first standards and ensuring commitment to WHS&E
You will have:
- Proven experience within an operations manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of operations process and related technology
- A proven track record of achieving continuous improvement
- Experience in providing effective training, coaching and people management practices
- Leadership experience ideally within an operational role
- Must be highly analytical with a financial acumen
- Advanced Excel skills as well as strong IT systems knowledge
- Strong planning and organisational skills as well as high attention to detail.
